Downloadable Video Formats

All videos available for download on essentials.tv are high-quality files suitable for public presentation. As broadband capabilities have improved, however, we have increased the quality and resolution of newer videos. This page should help you choose the best option.

MPEG-1 – Typically recommended for Microsoft Windows-based software such as EasyWorship, MediaShout, SundayPlus, PowerPoint and Windows Media Player. The file sizes are typically double the file sizes for MPEG-4 files, however, for comparable quality. Older Essentials for the On Mission Church videos are often offered only in this format at a resolution of 320x240 pixels. Newer files are generally available at either 640x480 (fullscreen) or 640x360 (widescreen) resolutions.

MPEG-4 (h.264) – Compatible with ProPresenter, Keynote, Worship Him and QuickTime. This format is recommended if supported by your software. Generally these files are 640x480 (4:3 fullscreen) or 640x360 (16:9 widescreen) resolution.

MPEG-1 HD or MPEG-4 HD - High-Definition files in widescreen (16:9) format with a resolution of 1280x720 (720p). These extremely large files generally should only if the presentation source is a high-definition projector or television.

With all downloads, please right-click on the links and select either "Save Target As," "Save File As," or "Download Linked File." A standard left click will open the file in your computer's default software, which can sometimes produce unexpected results.
